  1. Wayne Hunter says:

Jim Davis kicks butt! What a versatile genius you are. Stay with it. Oh by the way, did you ever get any eight track playings of Donnie Hathaway?

  2. Jim Davis says:

    Wayne–
I Am looking for some of his earlier material that would fit the time period. Thanks, Jim

  3. Wayne Hunter says:

Hey Mr. Davis, I found a recording With James Brown and Pavoroti on youtube singing TOGETHER Brown’s “This Is A Man’s World”. I wonder if you had ever heard that recording of them together? Just wondering about that.

  4. Jim Davis says:

It’s a wonderful video Circa 2002. James and Luciano look great, it is sad that they are gone, but we have our memories and the Internet

I have posted the link below for anyone who might want to look at it. You might have to cut and paste it into a browser.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nCmFmpadXbY

    Jim Davis

  5. Thank you for playing the music of Paul “Hucklebuck” Williams. To learn more about Mr. Williams please visit his website at http://www.PaulHucklebuckWilliams.com and his YouTube channel
    http://www.youtube.com/user/PaulHucklebuckWms?feature=mhum

  6. Jim Davis says:

There were so many post WWII artists who were left out when Rock and Roll eclipsed most everything else musically in the middle fifities. Musicians like Paul Williams, Roy Milton and Johnny Moore and his Three Blazers who were big hitmakers at the time are rarely played on the radio today. I am happy to be able to buck that trend and give them their due.
