Well, it’s that time again, when we reach out to our listeners to support Eight Track Flashback and WNCU. Our phone number for pledges is…..
919-560-9628
What I’ll do here is list the great premiums we have for those who call in and pledge to our great station. I will also try and keep the playlist entries up to date.
First up is a great Rhino compilation from which we played “I heard it through the Grapevine” and Groove Me”. It’s four disks, The Greatest Soul Hits of All Time, for a pledge of $200.
We also have a great 24 track Jackie Wilson CD, “Higher and Higher” is off this, later we’ll play “Lonely Teardrops. Looking for a $60 pledge for this one.
Phone number is 919-560-9628, as they say, Operators are standing by…..They can give you track listings on the over 50 disks we have, ranging from single CDs to a 10 CD set that spans the ’30s to the 50’s. It’s a great German import CD set for a pledge of $375.
Another unusual premium I found is “50 Big Ones-Greatest Hits” by the Beachboys. Lot’s of stuff I remember well from the ’60s and other great stuff from the 70’s and 80’s when they were on the Brother and Caribou labels. This 2 CD set is yours for a pledge of $100.

Charlie and Ray-I love you madly, single CD Early duo on the Herald label, local New York favorites who never charted nationally. Nice material. Interesting back story here…check out on Google…
Robert and Johnny-We belong together, single CD. More successful duo on the Old Town label. “We belong together” chared, and was covered by The Belmonts, and Buddy Holly. Again nice material which should have had more success.
